| 05 | After slaying the owlbears, The Party butchered the mother for its meat and went to gather two eggs that remained in a nearby nest. Mudge and Boris quarreled over whether to keep or eat the eggs. When fists were thrown, Mudge accidentally hit an egg, cracking it open and spilling its contents into the nest and surrounding ground. Boris took the remaining egg and the group went back to camp. |
| 04 | Joshua began preparing a meal for the group. Redact gave him ample supplies but warned him that a certain purple flowering plant was off limits to the crew. It was dried and set aside. Joshua strung together a delicious meal, with enough for everyone to have two portions. Mudge pushed his luck and snuck his plate back into Joshua's bag, convincing him to give Mudge his own plate. Redact gave Joshua more supplies. |
| 04 | The Party made their way back toward Mal Pavo, settling on going to a secluded area at Redact's recommendation, Redact's Camp. They arrived and tied up their horses, save for Mudge who forded the river on his horse. The others swung on a rope previously placed by Redact across the river to access the camp. Redact scurried ahead to prepare for their guests. They came out with goodies - smoked salmon, greens, and lingenberries. The camp had a wigwam, and a small altar with a diarama containing a leaf. |
| 04 | The Party made a dash for the horses, attempting to escape Commander Vaess and The Wardens. Mudge got tangled with some The Wardens attempting to detain him while Redact came to his aid, fighting back and stabbing a pursuer. Boris and Joshua made a clean escape, with only their horse taking an arrow to the haunch which was quickly remedied by the duo. Nyx, Mudge, and Redact fought to separate themselves from The Wardens. Commander Vaess beckoned for Bast Renwick to join the fray, but he was temporarily subdued when Mudge's Unseen Servant speared him to the ground. When the group made it to the road, Commander Vaess raised a hand and called for the pursuit to halt. For now. #battle |
| 03 | Boris Brimsley and Joshua Dean see Sashe Tawnsey bruised and bloodied in the caravan. They both make a run for it. Redactali Sukehiro and Zyla Nyx see them running and take their chance as well. Mudge sees the others running and notices two wardens approaching him from the side with rope in hand. He ducks out of their grasp and makes a run for it with The Wardens hot on his heels. |
| 03 | Back at Tosmer's Folly, Boris Brimsley got into heated fight with Zyla Nyx. She throws a plate of stir fry, courtesy of Joshua, at him. It misses, with Joshua catching the bulk of it and the rest flying safely into Mudge's waiting mouth in the distance. |
| 03 | On the way back to Tosmer's Folly, Mudge ran into Giles Drythey, who approached him, implying that those from the Skirts need to stick together and that Mudge and Nyx should join his crew. |
| 03 | The Party rested while Mudge snuck off to the forest, where he found a toppled barrel of wine well into the brush. It appeared that two trails of footprints met and proceeded to roll the barrel to its final resting place. When Mudge tasted the wine, he and The Party felt a current of energy course over and beneath their skin. He took three vials of wine from the barrel. |
| 02 | The survivors gathered out front after a time and received instructions to sit tight until the commander came. Zyla Nyx drew in the soul with her dasher until she fell asleep. Joshua Dean began to prepare a meal while Boris Brimsley and Redactali Sukehiro gathered around, and Mudge pitched a tent and went inside to rest... at least, that's what he appeared to do. He casted silent image and snuck out the back, towards the forest. |
| 02 | Mudge found the other squadron, led by Sashe Tawnsey and including Giles Drythey, out back behind the garrison. They appeared unharmed, and Sashe Tawnsey wiped black blood off her blade with deft movements. |
| 02 | The Party finished off the last, and largest, mist corrupted creature, but not before being exposed to an odd smoke based attack. Boris Brimsley put himself in harm's way by leaping on top of Renick Darnel, who was gravely injured with two crushed legs. Mudge identified strange arcane markings in the creature's skin, akin to those of darker arts he has noted in his spellbook. Joshua Dean dealt the final blow to the large marked goblin. #battle |
| 01 | As The Party drew near their destination, the smell of smoke hung in the air, and upon cresting the hill that stood between them and Tosmer's Folly, they saw that something was amiss. Smoke billowed from windows and an open front gate. No wardens were in sight. After investigation inside, a gust of wind created by Redactali Sukehiro revealed goblins crawling along the ceiling. Their heads snapped downward and they lunged. The group engaged in a skirmish, fighting them back. Now, most of the creatures lie dead. Both Redactali Sukehiro and Mudge sustained some superficial wounds, with Redactali Sukehiro's appearing to develop an unnatural black rim before Boris Brimsley's healing magic removed it. One goblin was distracted by Joshua Dean, devouring meat thrown against the wall and unconcerned with the shards of ceramic embedded in the soot covered flesh. The other goblin, different than its kin, rose to its feet after Renick Darnel was pulled from underneath him by Mudge's unseen servant. It is larger than the others. In fact, it is larger than any humanoid. Burns were etched across its skin in intricate patterns, and smoke leaked from a slacked-jaw mouth. #battle |
| 01 | We began on an overcast, late winter day. A chill hung in the air and the bleak light of the Solsun cast a fluorescent haze over the city of Solport. Most of our party was introduced on their way to report to The Wardens. Zyla Nyx, was conscripted from jail, took the offer that gave her a taste of freedom. Joshua Dean and Boris Brimsley, wound down after lunch rush at the restaurant, chatted and made their final preparations. Mudge left Inked Arcana and The Alleycat in the care of his apprentice, Liora Flint, and made his way to the town square. |
